Consultation and Imaging

We will create a 3D model of your new smile so you will know what it will look like after treatment. We will review this model in-depth with you to make sure you get the smile you want and deserve.

Temporary Veneers

We place temporary veneers on your teeth for two weeks so you can know how veeners look and function in everyday life. We want to make sure you feel comfortable and happy with your smile before the final placement.

Permanent Veneers

After the two weeks with the temporary veeners, you can come back into our office, and we will make any adjustments needed and place your permanent veneers.

Follow-Up

As your tissue begins healing from treatment, we will evaluate the final aesthetics of your dental work and do any recontouring necessary. Your smile should finally be transformed into the picture-perfect one you have always wanted.

FAQs

What are veneers?

Veneers are created with thin, ceramic porcelain. They are then bonded to your teeth in order to change the color, size, shape and position of your teeth and enhance the shape of your face.

How do you create veneers?

Our porcelain veneers are designed in our New York offices. Each patient’s treatment plan will be custom-designed by our experienced doctors, who have extensive clinical and aesthetic training to enhance your teeth, smile and face. Temporary veneers will allow you to test out your new smile for around two to three weeks before refining your permanent veneers.

What are Veneers made of?

Veneers are made of ceramic porcelain. They are crafted for an exact fit for your teeth. The ceramic porcelain is stained and glazed to match the color of your existing teeth or the desired shade.

Does getting porcelain veneers hurt?

Porcelain veneers require some local anesthesia, but it should not be painful. We will do all we can to ensure that you are comfortable throughout the entire process, from start to finish.

How long does getting porcelain veneers take?

Getting porcelain veneers for your teeth takes around three to four visits.

How long do porcelain veneers last?

Porcelain veneers are very durable and last for decades. Like for your natural teeth, proper dental care and attention is needed.

How many of my teeth will need porcelain veneers?

The number of porcelain veneers you will need depends on how you want to see your smile transformed and your goals. Veneers are usually done in even numbers so that they are symmetrical. For example, if you have a porcelain veneer on one tooth on the left side of your mouth, you will want a porcelain veneer on the same tooth on the right side of your mouth. For full cases on one arch, we usually recommend ten.
