Gary A. Nord, DMD
Dr. Gary A. Nord was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He attended the University of Southern California, earning bachelors degrees in Biological Sciences and Psychology. From there, Dr. Nord attended the Boston University School of Dental Medicine where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree cum laude. He completed his training in Prosthodontics at New York Hospital Queens, and attended Columbia University, where he took courses in Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Nord is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, and a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists. He is active in teaching and mentoring the next generation of Prosthodontists and serves as faculty in the Prosthodontics residency program at the VA Medical Center, Manhattan Campus. Dr. Nord is also very active in organized dentistry and leadership, and serves on the executive board as Program Chair of the Association of Innovative Dentistry, and is the elected Director at Large of the American College of Prosthodontists – New York State Section. He also serves as Chair of the national ACP Educational Foundation Annual Appeal.
